Guidance
Welcome to the Cardinal Newman School Guidance Department! On behalf of our entire guidance staff, we wish you all a happy
and successful 2023-2024. Our team is comprised of grade level counselors, a college counselor, an NCAA counselor, student
support services, a registrar, and a nurse. We are happy to advocate for our students as a collaborative, cohesive team. Some of the services we provide include:
- Academic counseling
- Individual Graduation plan
- Executive Functioning skills
- Personal counseling with referrals to mental health providers
- if needed
- Peer Mediation
- Student Assistance Plans
- Career counseling
- Intervention in ELA and math
- Implementation of the PSAT and AP Exams
- DeLaSalle Program for students with cognitive challenges
