Donor Advised Fund (DAF) Gifts

Use your Donor Advised Fund to make a gift to Cardinal Newman School. Log in to your DAF portal and request that your sponsor issue a grant using the following:

• Legal Name: Cardinal Newman School

• Federal Tax ID (EIN): 57-0419733

• Mailing Address: Cardinal Newman School, 2945 Alpine Road, Columbia, SC 29223

Your administrator will typically mail a check to the address above, or they may send funds electronically. In either case, it is important that we know a gift is on the way so that we can allocate and designate it properly.

Please share the following with Mrs. Amy Yoho at 803-888-1620 or ayoho@cnhs.org:

1. Name of DAF administrator

2. Amount of the forthcoming gift

3. Area of designation at Cardinal Newman

4. Date of distribution request

A Qualified Charitable Distribution is a direct gift from your IRA to Cardinal Newman School. If you are age 70 and a half or older, a QCD may reduce your taxable income and can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution.

How to make a QCD gift

1. Contact your IRA custodian and request a direct distribution to Cardinal Newman School.

2. Provide our Federal Tax ID (EIN): 57-0419733 and the payee name as Cardinal Newman School.

3. Ask your custodian to include your full name and contact information with the distribution so we can acknowledge your gift.
