The University of South Carolina conferred the designation of Carolina Master Scholar to eleven middle and high school students Dec. 3, 2021, at 5 p.m. at University Conference Center. During the ceremony, scholars were presented with a special certificate from the university.
These students constitute the eighteenth graduating class earning the designation of Carolina Master Scholar for their successful completion of at least three Adventure Series courses. Carolina Master Scholar Adventure Series is a summer academic program for academically talented rising 6 - 12 grade students. Adventure Series was chosen “best program” by the University Continuing Education Association and “best program” by SC Association for Higher Continuing Education.

Continuing Education and Conferences extends its appreciation to the university faculty and field experts who coordinate and provide instruction for the Carolina Master Scholars Adventure Series.
