Our outstanding African American high school seniors will be recognized this weekend by the Columbia Urban League . They will Livestream the event at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2021, via their Facebook and YouTube channels at www.culsc.org.
Students are selected for their hard work, dedication, and excellence in one or more of the following areas: academics, the arts, leadership, technology, and athletics. The Urban League will also highlight students who have received special recognition in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This program recognizes African-American high school seniors' accomplishments in Allendale, Clarendon, Fairfield, Florence, Kershaw, Lee, Lexington, Marion, Newberry, Richland, and Sumter counties. This year’s theme is “Achievement Matters.” Achievement is the sustaining legacy of Black History Month.
