PURCHASING TEXTBOOKS*
DEAR CARDINAL NEWMAN FAMILIES:
The MBS Website is now open for the 2008-2009 school year. MBS Direct is Cardinal Newman School’s Official Online Bookstore for all 2008-2009 textbooks and course materials. You can order your textbooks by visiting http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/cnhs.htm.
Ordering is easy. All ordering is done by Course Number. Once you select the course number, all textbooks for the selected course will be displayed. If you have any problems with the website, please call the MBS Direct customer service call center at (800) 325-3252.
To facilitate the purchase of your textbooks, the Cardinal Newman School website includes the 2008-2009 Cardinal Newman Booklist for information only. It is not necessary to use the booklist, if ordering books from MBS Direct. MBS Direct offers cost savings, convenience, reliability, and a host of services to meet your textbook needs.
Important Note - The booklist may include more ISBNs than you will see on the MBS Direct website. If multiple ISBNs are listed for the same book, then the books are exactly the same even if the ISBN is different. MBS may list only the one that they are supplying, but it will be the same book.
Importantly, please plan to order your textbooks before the start of school, so the students will be prepared for class on the first day of school on August 20, 2008. The editions listed on the MBS Direct website, or the Cardinal Newman School 2008-2009 booklist are the only approved versions.
Please note that some of the Dual Enrollment Courses do not have books designated for the course. This information is supplied by the University and we will update both MBS Direct and the booklist on the website as soon as this information becomes available. This information is sometimes not available until school starts.
Your student’s schedule should be mailed to you soon. If you have not received your student’s schedule when you are ready to order books, then use the student’s Course Selection Report in lieu of the schedule for book ordering.
