s a Cardinal Newman Parent, you are already a member of the PTO. The primary purpose of the PTO is to support the ongoing mission of Cardinal Newman School. Through the PTO, parents and teachers strive to build community, strengthen communications, and provide resources necessary to support the school and the programs it offers. The PTO is also a forum for exchanging thoughts, expressing ideas and sharing experiences.
There are many opportunities to volunteer and become an active part of your child's school and to make lifelong friends in the PTO.
The PTO has one fundraiser each school year, the School's Annual Auction. Our fundraising activities assist in supplementing the financial needs of the School, helping to enrich both the School's curriculum and its facilities. Through our fundraising efforts, the PTO was recently able to provide the School with new lockers, computers, picnic tables, science lab modules and a new gymnasium floor.
Our efforts help to offset our tuition thereby making a Catholic education available to more families. This requires a team effort and commitment to the community.
