It’s a very exciting time for Catholic Education in the Midlands. Our dream of building a new Cardinal Newman School campus continues, step by step, to become a reality. We have met and exceeded our Phase I Fundraising Goal and are now embarking on the Phase II Fundraising Plan by:
- reaching out to the members of our parent, alumni, and friend constituencies who have not yet made a pledge or contribution
- reaching out to the greater Columbia Catholic parishes for their support for the building of the new chapel.
Additionally, our Bishop has signed the contract with JHS Architecture of Columbia to begin Phase I of the Construction Process. This allows all formal engineering plans to be developed, the permitting process to move forward, and the plan for tree cutting to be formalized and executed with appropriate permissions. You should be seeing movement on Alpine Road in the near future as we begin this wonderful project!
If you have not made your commitment, it’s not too late. Contact Terry Hodaly in the CN Development Office at 803-782-2814, ext. 39 or
